What We Do In The Shadows: Season 1 - I really love the film and was skeptical that an American TV series could work, but it does, looking forward to starting season 2! 9/10.
Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.
Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about 12 years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys. (Office Space)

Hunters (Amazon Prime Video) - The pilot was exceptional, pulpy, violent, revenge series. The series has a Tarantino copy cat vibe to it but it's fairly well done, my only issue is that some scenes meander longer than they need to padding out the episodes to over 60 minutes, could be tighter in that respect, otherwise worth checking out. 8/10.

Beef House - Started watching this new comedy series from Tim and Eric... totally crazy, not sure what to think about it so far, only three episodes are out. 7/10.

The Eric Andre Show - Just binged a bunch of episodes, this is one bat s**t insane interview show. Some episodes are funnier than others, hit or miss. 7/10.

The Last Dance - The sports documentary that everyone has been waiting for! An inside look at the last season Michael Jordan played with the Bulls that resulted in their sixth NBA Championship. The first two episodes of ten dropped today on Netflix, so good, can't wait for the remaining eight!

The Willoughbys (Netflix) - New animated feature that has a crazy good voice cast, Maya Rudolph, Martin Short, Will Forte, Terry Crews, Jane Krakowski, and Ricky Gervais. Decent adventure, wonderful characters, some plot issues here and there, but overall a fun movie, the animation style and aesthetics are wonderful. 7/10.

Circus of Books (Netflix) - an interesting documentary feature about a religious Jewish couple that opened one of the first gay porn book stores in the seventies. The couple's daughter does a deep dive into how and why they opened the store when it wasn't anything they agreed with at the time, how they dealt with change over the years, and how their attitudes changed over the years about sexual orientation. 9/10.

Extraction (Netflix) - Check your brain at the door action film, exactly what you'd expect and nothing more, while Chris Hemsworth holds his own, it would have benefited the production to hire an actor that had a bit more personality and charisma. Instead he plays the role about as generically as you can get. Otherwise it was entertaining, 6.5/10.

Watched a trio of comedy specials by Chris D'Elia, "Incorrigible" (2015), "Man On Fire" (2017) and "No Pain" (2020) all Netflix specials, just discovered this guy recently and loved all three of these specials, amazing stand up performances with his most recent show "No Pain" being the best and most polished of the three. 10/10.
