Sorry, me again!
The R2 United Kingdom - Palisades Tartan version is not quite correct and also a bit confusing.
Soundtrack(s):
DISC ONE:
Music DTS 5.1 (Ed Hughes music score)
Music Dolby Digital 5.1 (Ed Hughes music score)
Music Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo (Ed Hughes music score)
---> this is correct, but it relates to Strike, not Battleship Potemkin (Battleship Potemkin is not on Disc One)
DISC TWO:
Music Dolby Digital 2.0 Dual Mono (Nikolai Kryukov score)
---> this should be:
DISC TWO:
Music DTS 5.1 (Ed Hughes music score)
Music Dolby Digital 5.1 (Ed Hughes music score)
Music Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo (Ed Hughes music score)
Music Dolby Digital 2.0 Dual Mono (Nikolai Kryukov score)
So, judging by the presentation on the Strike and October pages, the presentation here should be:
Soundtrack(s):
DISC TWO:
Music DTS 5.1 (Ed Hughes music score)
Music Dolby Digital 5.1 (Ed Hughes music score)
Music Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo (Ed Hughes music score)
Music Dolby Digital 2.0 Dual Mono (Nikolai Kryukov score)
DISC THREE:
Music Dolby Digital 2.0 stereo (Edmund Meisel score)
There are two versions of the film on Disc Two. If you "Play Film", you will get the Ed Hughes score (film duration is 73:53 as correctly stated) with your chosen sound option. If you go to "Extra Features", you can play the film with the Nikolai Kryukov score (film duration is 63:00).
And I don't know if it is worth mentioning, but the picture quality of the newer Transit Film 4K restoration used by the BFI version is immeasurably better than the Tartan. I don't know which other releases use this restoration, possibly the Scandinavian release and maybe some others not in the comparison. (In the cuts section, "restoration" is misspelt as "restauration".)
