Con Air (1997) DVD+Blu-ray missing scene? MOVE TO DISCUSSION

Postby Ewan_McMahon » 25 Sep 2018 14:52

On both the Con Air (1997) DVD+BLURAY listing pages:
http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=282
http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/f ... ?fid=12250
At the bottom of each page, every listing (except DVD Germany) is listed as NO Cuts (theatrical or extended).

However there is a bunch of online information on various websites (melonfarmers.co.uk, IMDB, various forum discussion websites etc) that suggest a scene may or may not be included on any number of worldwide DVD or BluRay releases:

There are reports of cuts to edit out the Sally Can't Dance character: When Sally Can't Dance see cops getting closer to the plane he squeals "Oooh, men in uniform".

Various websites suggest it is UK edit problem, while other websites suggest North American DVD/Blu-ray releases and European editions also cut it (unknown if that includes theatrical and extended versions).

I know none of this information is concrete certain (sorry about that, I'll try to get accurate data in the future  ), but I wonder if it might be worth putting a note on the Con Air (1997) DVD+BluRay pages in the notes sections about the possibility of this odd edit might be on some of the current listings. At least until the listings data can be verified?
