Deep Blue Sea 2-Film Collection DVD ADDED

This submission is for the two movies included in the Deep Blue Sea 2-Film Collection DVD:

Both movies are crammed onto one disc. The extras for the first movie (from the original late 1990s DVD release and the Blu-ray) have been dropped. Only the second movie has extras.

Interestingly, the first movie has had its aspect ratio changed from 2.35:1 to 1.78:1 with the mattes removed. Here are a couple of quick screenshots between this DVD and the original. Not sure why WB chose to do this, but at least it's open matte and not cropped.

For some weird reason, even though they removed the mattes, the back of the case has the disclaimer, "Presented in a 'matted' widescreen format preserving the aspect ratio of its original theatrical exhibition." I guess the video department didn't tell the art department that they're not using the original formatting of the movie :-)

On an unrelated matter... Thank you for adding my submission of the four movies included in the An American Tail: 4-Movie Complete Collection (2-DVD Set):

You made a slight mistake when adding the information for the first film, American Tail (An) (1986) - http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=8319

You added it as 1.33:1 Non-Anamorphic, when it should be 1.85:1 Anamorphic. Please correct as soon as you can.

The 2 Film Collection you just added says Aspect Ratio: 2.35:1. It should be 1.78:1 (open matte). For whatever reason, for this single-disc 2-film release, the first movie has had its aspect ratio changed from 2.35:1 to 1.78:1 with the mattes removed. In my original post (above) I included some a few quick screenshots between the 2-film DVD and the original, though I've since deleted them to reclaim some webspace.

I have no idea why WB chose to do this, but at least it's open matte and not cropped.

Also, you should add a DVD listing for Deep Blue Sea 2. You only have the Blu-ray listed.
