Is the DVD region 0?
Music DTS-HD Master Audio 2.0

Is it mono or stereo?
Subtitles (are they optional?): English (yes)

Do the main films have English subtitles? Are there intertitles?

DVD is region 0.

It is stereo.

The main shorts 1) - 6) don't have intertitles and English subtitles. They have only brief intros in Czech/English before each film and theirs duration are included in the total runtime.
The bonus shorts 7) Unveiling Ceremony of the Monument – July1, 1912; St. John's Rapids; Man's Five senses – tinted version; The Living Corpses & How Film is Made have Czech intertitles and English subtitles.
