With broadcast in mind, the producers requested a TV aspect ratio which is the intended viewing ratio; however, cinematographer Luciano Tovoli kept a 1.85:1 framing in mind while shooting so the widescreen version is matted rather than the 1.33:1 version being open-matte; however, both options are valid. -
