OVERALL: R2
The Arrow release for offering the "Unrated Cut" with an anamorphic transfer in the OAR, an Italian soundtrack (in addition to being English friendly and containing an English track), and the best extras; however, the U.K. disc only has mono tracks for a film released in Dolby Stereo. Do note, the R1 has a 5.1 soundtrack and the trailer.
Also note that R0 Germany from Dragon, R0 Germany from Raptor and R2 UK "The Demons Collection" all have extras not found on the R1 or R2 Arrow, but they are not anamorphic.
GENERAL NOTES:
When the film was released in the United States, the distributor attempted a theatrical release with R-rated theatrical prints that had mono sound. The American video release reflected this version (as do unauthorized DVD editions from certain labels).
A comparison between the International Version and Italian Version is available on Movie Censorship. -
