Father Of The Bride 1 and 2 Blu-Ray (20th Anniversary)

Post by Jason_Hall »

Does anyone own the 3-disc Father Of The Bride 1 and 2 20th Anniversary Edition blu-ray + DVD pack? This one: https://www.amazon.com/Father-of-the-Br ... B0077HQCRO

If so, and you're willing to check, is the DVD for Father Of The Bride Part II anamorphic widescreen or is it the same non-anamorphic release that's always been available in R1?

Every review I can find focuses on the Blu-Ray (naturally) rather than the DVDs.

Thanks for any help!

There's this review, if it helps: https://www.dvdizzy.com/fatherofthebrid ... ction.html

"The DVDs are the same as those sold separately and bundled together. The original movie hails from 2005 (Disney's math was off then to, for its premature 15th Anniversary Special Edition) and is anamorphic and respectable (but a far cry from 1080p). Part II is from all the way back in 2000 and thus isn't even enhanced for 16:9 displays or anywhere near as stellar as a five-year-old movie would look on DVD these days."

I looked at so many reviews but never stumbled onto that one.

Thanks! That's exactly what I needed to know. The Part II DVD is the same non-anamorphic release that's always been around.
