An American Werewolf in London (1981) DVD

http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=1451

R2 United Kingdom - Universal Pictures - 2 Disc Special Edition

According to the current listings, this release is cut (by just over 2 minutes).
However, it seems that this was probably only the case for early pressings, and that later ones have the uncut version, as well as different extras.

If you follow the link to the Movie Censorship page, it states:
"There also exists a re-release of the 2 disc special edition which has the same cover artwork as the first edition but is uncut."
https://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=1221

My own DVD copy is a 2 disc Special Edition, with artwork just like on the Movie Censorship page. The date on the back of my case is 2009.
This contrasts with an earlier 2002 release:

R2 United Kingdom - Universal Pictures - 21st Anniversary Special Edition

which has a different cover - a different banner across the top, plus other differences, as can be seen here:
https://www.blu-ray.com/dvd/An-American ... DVD/30321/

In addition, the disc contents on my 2009 UK 2 Disc Special Edition are different to those currently listed. DISC TWO is the same as already listed, but DISC ONE contains only the movie (93:23 PAL) plus the commentary track, not the other extras. I don't know about the menu graphics and so on, but essentially my copy appears to be DISC ONE of the 21st Anniversary Special Edition plus DISC TWO of the 2 Disc Special Edition.

So I propose that the UK 2 disc Special Edition should be listed twice, with the earlier and later details.

I am confused as to how you have added this edition. It seems there are several issues, including:

1. The copy I own does not have all the extras on DISC ONE - only the commentary track, exactly as I listed previously.
2. In the CUTS section, it currently only mentions the cut version.

Given all the differences between these 2 editions, it might be easier to list them as 2 separate items.

I wasn't aware that both editions have the same UPC/barcode - I haven't checked this myself, but assuming that is correct, that makes it very confusing for potential purchasers. I can't say I approve of companies releasing items this way, especially when the extras are different too. Not that there are likely to be many purchasers, as most people will probably buy a Blu-ray or 4K release instead.
