The four Fox PAL DVDs are all dual-coded for regions 2 and 4.

Add the UK Fox; ASIN: B0007P8KVO.

There's also a near-identical Spanish DVD but I can't find the runtime.

Beaver link on DVD comparison needs removing and adding to BD.

Again, please use dashes for submenus only. Also, please list the specs of the DVD separately rather than how it's listed above. It looks like it's part of the submenu or part of the Blu-ray which makes things confusing at first glance.

Specs like aspect ratio, etc. are missing for the German version.

Re: The Big Trail (1930) FAO Brent

It's at all not clear how/where to list specs for multiple-disc sets (should each disc have its own template?); same goes for booklets, etc. Perhaps the original template could be amended to add some guidance?

Cut me some slack on the one timing (1:48:18) as it was obviously an oversight; there was a lot of info to compile in that post!

The German MLV DVD's AR is 1.33:1 (another oversight!) and it appears to be completely barebones.

Simple. List out each disc as its own entry.

Also, it would help if you could separate different editions rather than posting them all in a single reply.

Please make the appropriate fixes.

Again, please don't use dashes like this unless it is a specific submenu listing. We have to remove them when entering and it makes it much easier for us without them.
As for alternate versions of the film, you don't need to list it in the extras section, but please list it in the specs for the film itself. For example:
Aspect Ratio: 2.10:1 (70mm Fox Grandeur version) / 1.33:1 (35mm version)

The Blu-ray is in a Digibook case while the 2 DVDs are packaged in a separate keep case?

I just don't get what you mean in terms of extras listing methodology. I've looked at various other submissions and almost all differ from each other in some way, so there are a lot of members also getting it wrong! Can you please link to a submission that's formatted correctly, or perhaps the form itself could be amended to be clearer?

The case note was a copy/paste error, now fixed.

The case note was a copy/paste error, now fixed.

It still says "keep case" above. I don't see any change applied, and still there are numerous dashes that are remaining.

Not sure what is unclear, but an example:

DISC ONE (Blu-ray 4K)
* The Film
Audio Commentary by biographer Douglas L. Rathgeb

DISC TWO (Blu-ray)
* The Film

"Behind the Scenes: James Dean Remembered" documentary (66:22)
"Behind the Scenes: Rebel Without a Cause - Defiant Innocents" documentary (36:30)
"Behind the Scenes: Dennis Hopper - Memories of the Warner Lot" featurette (10:31) [1080p]

Behinds the Cameras - Interviews
- Natalie Wood (7:57)
- Jim Backus (5:47)
- James Dean (7:44)
Theatrical Trailer (2:25)

For the extras like documentaries, the featurette, the tests, etc. they are listed without a - because they are not part of any submenu. But for the deleted scenes and the interviews, they are part of a submenu which you must click on first to access them, hence the - marks. If they are part of a submenu within a submenu, then -- should be used. So, when listing an entry we would like:

It's clear that it's a 2 disc set, with info for both discs listed separately. If you want to include other countries' discs which have completely different specs, please follow with a new reply to separate them as different editions, which makes it easier for us as well.

I did alter the keep case notation but on the wrong German DVD! Now fixed.

The French BD commentary was just me getting them mixed up. I clearly bit off more than I could chew with such a lengthy post!

Thanks for explaining the extras thing; I understand now.

I'll split up the releases so you can add them one at a time. Here's the first:

Title: The Big Trail (1930)

For 4K HDR support: (SDR, HDR 10, HDR 10+, Dolby Vision support?)
Picture: (1080p/1080i 60/1080i 50 etc): 1080p - both versions
Soundtracks: (If a silent film, also state score composer or performer): English DTS-HD Master Audio 1.0 - both versions
Subtitles (are they optional?): English (SDH), French, Spanish - both versions
Cuts: (and if you know it, precise run time) None; Fox Grandeur version (2:01:44) / Standard 35mm version (1:48:18)
Commentaries: Yes, by Richard Schickel (Fox Grandeur version)

I was waiting for you to update the entries here, but since I had some time, I went ahead and reformatted everything (which was way too time consuming...) to get this out of the way.

Cheers, James; good work. The four identical Fox PAL DVDs still need to be noted as dual-coded for regions 2 and 4, and the DVD comparison Beaver link needs removing.
