Before you do anything, please consider this: The Rewind Team do ALL the work involved in running the database and these forums as a hobby. Whilst we greatly appreciate your assistance, please don't swamp us with posts as it is demotivating for us to get behind and frustrating for you when we have to close the forums to catch up. Thank you in advance for your understanding and co-operation.
To limit the burden for the team and make it possible for all to post we have rule of max 3 active topics per user in this forum. Do not post a new topic until one of your older topics is marked as added.
We have decided to introduce a new rule for this forum to help the workload turnaround quicker, as seeing long threads can be quite daunting and when we have just a short amount of time spare, does mean we may decide to use it elsewhere if a thread looks like it needs a lot more time than we have. Please have a separate thread for each title (though you can of course post as many specs for that title in that thread). You may still post boxsets, but please keep box sets as a single post, with specs for other films in that box set allowed only, not related directors. Also, please keep different seasons from TV shows as separate threads. If it is a film series, please use a separate thread for each movie.
Do you already have the FULL and ACCURATE disc specifications for a particular DVD? If so and you would like to add it to the Comparison Database WITHOUT becoming a team member, just post the info in this forum.
Please state where you found the specs: Are they taken from a DVD you own or from a reliable DVD review website? I'm afraid quoting specs from etailers isn't sufficient as these are often inaccurate, particularly when they are pre-release specs. Providing specifications from the back cover or other packaging does not count either. If you have the disc then please actually check it as packaging is often wrong.
Unfortunately, any posts made which don't meet these 'terms' will either be deleted or researched by the team and added as a comparison request with no credit given to the poster. This is in an attempt to ensure we only get 100% accurate specs posted in this forum. If you are at all unsure of any of the specs, just request a comparison instead.
Please see the thread regarding how to layout your comparison: http://www.dvdcompare.net/forums/phpbb3 ... =9&t=15287
You should note that this forum is 'tidied' on a regular basis. If you return and your post has been deleted, you should assume that the comparison has been added.

Note I will be splitting up some existing threads and will put the contributors name within the title. Please include these threads as part of your three active ones (though to start with, some will have a number of additional threads!)

Re: The "Your Comparisons" Forum Rules
An additional rule for multiple editions of a single title.
If you have multiple editions of a single title from different countries, different editions to add, this can all be placed in a single thread. But, please separate each edition with a reply. For example the initial thread start is for one edition, hit reply to post specs for another edition.
If other users want to "coattail" the thread and add their own specs for other editions of the title they are free to do so, and this will not count in the "3 threads at a time" rule.
In addition, if it's a Blu-ray+DVD combo, please post them in the same reply as it is a set together.
