Is the 'zoom' out from the C-U of the monster's eyesocket with eyeball dangling shown below, in the Anolis release ?.It's definitely missing from the DDHE version I own (Probably not in the R1 release either) .
I also wondered if the 'sawing' shot below also missing from the UK dvd is in the Anolis release ?:

PS - I think you have put the DVD running time - 90m37s - in for the Blu Ray in the entry on this. The Blu Ray should run about 93m (else its cut !!).
Tim.The Blu-ray RT is totally correct and I can confirm it's uncut like the included dvd. It's 1080i not 1080p so I don't know if this is why.The same goes for the RT of my 1080i Blu-ray version of Death Wish 4 from Scandinavia which runs 95:32 instead of 99:36 like the 1080p US Blu-ray.Still relatively new to the Blu-ray scene but I checked the BR running time of FATMFH in my machine & that was the version I watched not the dvd.
Yes. I'm viewing at 120" so it is much more noticeable than my 50" and 42" TVs. Usually signs can be combing and ghosting, but it obviously differs wildly film to film. G2 Pictures (who I don't think exist anymore) released mainly 1080i, and their transfer vary wildly. Check my reviews for DeadHeads (not a bad transfer) and Detachment (rather bad).
Basically, an interlaced transfer means each frame is interlaced with the one after it.
This release shouldn't be in 1080i of course. It was shot in film and all that. If a movie is originally shot on video (tv, low budget filmmaking, extra features etc) I could understand 1080i, but never if the movie is originally shot on film. And it's relatively easy to shot with 1080p now, even in video.
And since the U.S. tv-sets and Blu-ray players doesn't even support 50hz (in Europe/Australia both 50/60hz are supported), this release has a very niche market. I own two dvd releases of this film already. There's now way I'm going to buy some 1080i release...
