The optional subtitles for the documentary are German, not Japanese ;-) - if so, I would have had no chance in understanding this really insightful piece (Koch normally does German subtitles for their extras). About the English portions: One of the assassins is the actor from "The Raid". He is from Indonesia - so I "suspect" that he also speaks in English in the other releases. And I guess it's part of the concept of the movie that the foreign assassins are not speaking in Japanese.
