Is this correct? On the US DVD it's over 6 minutes.

This runtime also seems short. Please recheck.

What subtitles are available for Disc Three?

Is there no "Below Deck" interactive feature on the Scandinavian DVD?
Also, are there no easter eggs?

James-Masaki_Ryan wrote:Matthew,

For commentaries both reviews say the same, as the 3-disc set just adds another bonus disc.

(.1) Audio Commentary by director Gore Verbinski and actor Johnny Depp
"Audio commentary by director Gore Verbinski and actor Johnny Depp. Interesting, though it's hard to tell which one you're talking about at all times."

(.3) Scene Specific Audio Commentary by actress Keira Knightley and actor Jack Davenport
(.4) Scene Specific Audio Commentary by producer Jerry Bruckheimer

"Audio commentary by producer Jerry Bruckheimer and actors Keira Knightley and Jack Davenport. It is the most curious of the three, because in reality they are two commentaries, which are spread throughout the film (we chose from the menu which of the two we hear and, depending on this choice, we see some scenes or others with their corresponding narration). Producer Jerry Bruckheimer's part is based on interviews about the film and not on commenting on the scenes. In the parts of the actors"

(.2) Audio Commentary by scriptwriters Stuart Beattie, Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio and Jay Wolpert
"Audio commentary by screenwriters Ted Elliott, Terry Rossio, Stuart Beattie and Jay Wolpert. Of interest only to those who really want to know in depth everything about how the film was made."
Any additional info on "Below Deck"? The featurette runtimes, etc.
I left it as is, like our other comparisons, but here what the review says on both reviews:
Under the cover - We have here an interactive documentary on the real life of the pirates narrated by David Cordingly, with images of films of pirates "of all life", images of Pirates of the Caribbean and drawings and engravings of the time. To view this documentary we have three options, each of them gives us a different viewing:

A) Sailing: A visit to a virtual pirate ship where we must search to access the different chapters of the documentary and small introductory or clarifying animations.

B) The Last Story of a Prisoner: A different montage of the different chapters of the documentary in which a prisoner pirate tells us the different aspects of his life.

C) List of scenes: The list of the different chapters of the documentary without the addition of the other two options. It includes
- "Bodega"
- "Battles"
- "Captain's Room"
- "Rules of Pirate Life" (the code of conduct, rank and privilege)
- "How Piracy began"
- "X marks the place" (the treasures of the pirates and their routes)
- "Burned Treasure" (legends of buried treasures)
- "What they stole"
- "lives of pirates"

The documentary itself is extremely interesting although, like the filming of the film, it includes too many short pieces and does not delve into any aspect.

It still says this for the Scandinavia post, so it makes things confusing. I suggest you remove the mistake.

Yes, but I'm looking for a more detailed rundown of the PAL discs contents. This is how it is for NTSC:
"Below Deck: An Interactive History of Pirates" interactive feature
- "Set Sail"
-- "The Captain’s Quarters"
--- “Code of Conduct”
--- “Rank and Privilege”
--- “How Piracy Began”
--- “What They Stole”
--- “Buried Treasure”
--- “X Marks the Spot”
-- “Black Bart Roberts”
-- “Blackbeard”
-- “John Paul Jones”
-- “Captain Kidd”
-- “Robinson Crusoe”
-- “Sir Francis Drake”
-- “Women Pirates”
-- “Chinese Pirates”
-- “Edward Lowe”
-- "On Deck"
--- “Punishments”
--- “Symbols”
--- “Nature’s Wrath”
--- “Pirate Ships”
-- "The Gunnery"
--- “Weapons”
--- “Battles”
-- "The Galley"
--- “Daily Life”
--- “Superstitions”
--- “Types of Pirates”
- “A Prisoner’s Last Tale” featurette (22:08)
Well as far as the review goes this is all the detail it gives. It does state this:
"COMPARISON WITH OTHER EDITIONS
All the editions to date of this film are virtually identical.
The Zone 1 and Zone 2 Great Britain have DTS audio in original English version, but they do not have Spanish subtitles or bent tracks."

So if you want me too, I can add the above, minus the time.
Main Player:Oppo UDP-203 Regional Player:LG BH200 TV:P75QX-H1
Doesn't associate with Commicrats or pedos of Bluesky.

Asmund, another easter egg to check:

- On Disc 2, go to "Below Deck", highlight "Set Sail", press left twice for Pre-Viz animation.

Could you give us the runtime?
