ASIN: B000ETR71C B007Y5KL9O
Sources:
- I borrowed the DVD from the library

* I couldn’t find a way to remove the subtitles in the Apple DVD Player, but I could do it in VLC. So, it might be possible to do it from a DVD player’s remote control (I can’t test this), but it’s not possible to do it from the DVD’s menu.

Are the subtitles burned-in or forced?

It seems that the subtitles are neither burnt-in nor forced. There simply is not a menu on the disc where they can be selected off, but pressing the SUBTITLES button on one’s remote control will switch them on or off.

DVDBeaver reports that the Second Sight subtitles were not removable with the DVD player he used, so I will label it as "forced" with a note about being removable on VLC. Added, thank you
