    OVERALL: R0

    Only release we know of.

    Note about versions:
There are many different edits of this film in existence. The film was a French-Italian-Spanish coproduction, and a number of different edits of the film seem to have been prepared for different markets:
Italy: ANICA (the Italian Associazione Nazionale Industrie Cinematografiche Audiovisive e Multimediali) identifies the Italian cinema prints as being 2720m in length (circa 99mins). However, an Italian VHS release is in existence, which contains a version of the film (in Italian language) that runs for 105:04s (PAL).
France: ANICA identifies the length of the French release prints as 95mins. However, a French SECAM cassette is in existence which contains an edit of the film that runs for 87:04 mins; this version of the film carries the title La Machination. Confusingly, the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC), which holds the data from the French cinema regulatory body Commission de controle des films cinematographiques (CCFC), lists the film's length as 3360m (c.122mins).
Germany: ANICA identifies the German release prints as running for 99mins.
English-language versions: When the film was submitted to the BBFC in 1971, it had a runtime of 108:06s. A 103 min (NTSC) VHS version has also been in circulation, and the BFI lists the running time of the English version as 103mins (9270 feet).
