OVERALL: Draw
Between the Eureka edition for the new extras and "Dog Days" documentary - do note that the limited edition has an extra disc with additional new extras - and the Olive Blu-ray for the director's commentary and lossless original mono audio. Lionsgate has the documentary and a different director's commentary but also has lossy mono audio.
Note: There was confusion regarding a missing "sex scene" between Dee Wallace Stone and Christopher Stone, which can be found on VHS releases for the film. All DVD and Blu-ray releases carry the same version of the film & this scene is not included. The Blu-ray and DVD releases all feature the R-rated version. -
CUTS:
- Blu-ray A 30th Anniversary Edition America- Olive Films - No cuts - R-rated version (93:08)
- Blu-ray ALL 25th Anniversary Edition America- Lions Gate Home Entertainment - No cuts - R-rated version (92:46)
- Blu-ray B Limited Edition United Kingdom- Eureka - No cuts - R-rated version (92:47)
- Blu-ray B Standard Edition United Kingdom- Eureka - No cuts - R-rated version (92:47)
