OVERALL: Draw
The US/Canadian releases include a lengthy documentary and the choice of Russian or English intertitles while the 2012 UK release includes additional films.
The French release has two versions of the film with some differing exclusive extras.
The 2025 UK release has an exclusive score and differing exclusive extras.
Note that the 2012 UK edition had a faulty first pressing:
After the release of our Dual Format Edition of Battleship Potemkin/Drifters it became apparent that there was a technical fault with the presentation of Potemkin on the Blu-ray Disc. We have therefore re-authored and re-pressed the project, and replacement Blu-ray Discs are now available. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the original Blu-ray Disc and would like a replacement, please contact Ben.Stoddart@bfi.org.uk giving details of your name and address and, if possible, proof of purchase and a new disc will be sent to you as soon as possible. The faulty disc's runtime for "Battleship Potemkin" runs at (68:51) while the corrected disc runs at (68:49) -
