The replaced first disc (which is identical to the single-disc release from Criterion) is encoded R1, whilst the second and third discs are the same as the previous 3-disc release, and are encoded R0 (thanks to Rewind user shrieker for confirmation). -

OVERALL: R1
The R1 US Criterion Collection (REISSUED) -release wins here on the basis that it contains an the complete Director's Cut of the film, anamorphic, the alternative version of the film and has a HUGE selection of extras.
R2 and R4 Fox releases (other than the Brazil release) are the European Cut, which is similar to the Director approved Criterion Version but omits a few seconds, check the cut status below for more details.
