For the International version of the film:
- The French edition has an English DTS soundtrack and good extras. Unfortunately it has forced subtitles and some of the extras are presumably not English friendly.
- The German CE has significant extras, but it has also forced subtitles and the documentary may not be English friendly.
- The Australian edition has no forced subtitles, but it has only a Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track and a "Making Of" featurette.

For the UK video version:
- Both German CE and UK "Director's Son's Cut" or "The Complete Viking" have exclusive extras, but do note that the documentary of the German edition may not be English friendly.

For the Director's Son's version:
- Both UK and US "Director's Son's Cut" editions have each exclusive extras.
