The Vinegar Syndrome and Scandinavian editions come from a 4K restoration of the original camera negative and features a brief sex scene not included on the Synapse editions - which come from an older HD master - along with extras and two cuts of the film. Do note, the Scandinavian release features a few additional extras.

Choosing between the three Vinegar Syndrome editions will depend on availability and whether you want one or both cuts (or neither) in 4K.

GENERAL NOTES:
Four versions of the film exist:
- the festival cut featuring a softcore lesbian sex scene - details of which can be found HERE included in the German theatrical version which was otherwise censored (~108 minutes);
- the Swedish version with hardcore inserts added by the director (~107 minutes);
- the US theatrical version titled "They Call Her One Eye" (~82 minutes);
- Synapse's "Vengeance Edition" (~103 minutes) which was created by trimming out the hardcore inserts and eye gouging scene for wider sales.

• Blu-ray ALL Vinegar Syndrome Exclusive Limited Edition America- Vinegar Syndrome - No cuts. Includes the extended cut (108:14) with a minute of exit music and thirty seconds of Vinegar Syndrome closing logo, and the U.S. Cut (90:03).
• Blu-ray ALL Canada- Synapse Films - No cuts. Includes the Swedish Version (106:43) and the cut "Vengeance Edition", in which the sex scenes are removed and the eye scene is shortened (103:01 NTSC)
